Happy Halloween!

....to all you random blog-aholics! Hope you have a great day, eat lots of candy, steal it from little kids (it makes it taste better) The forecast is looking good here in Salt Lake City!!! If you see Belle walking around go up and say hi, it might be me! I will post a picture of the lovely pumpkin I am going to carve, it will have something like...GO UTES! or a U, something close to last years. I LOVE MY UTES!

*Remember to vote for th All Century Basketball Team at www.utahutes.com

This is one of my pumpkins...I whipped it out in 5ish minutes, I'm pretty crafty with the carving tool, you might not know this but I'm kinda a big deal in the pumpkin carving world!! Enjoy today, after this it's offically "The Holidays" and craziness begins.

BOWLING!!!
I just wanted to give a shout out to my favorite sport...bowling. One day I will be part of the PBA (Pro Bowlers Association). It is probably the most white trash, ghetto associations one could be apart of...but if you love bowling as much as I do, it becomes your life goal! Plus the Davis-Lang Bowling Tournament is coming up quickly and I wanted to remind all immediate members of the Robert Lang Jr. family to get practicing. The Davis' actually never win (even when we give them extra points, have less people, etc...lets just face it they aren't good at bowling) We are missing Joshie again this year, but hopefully that won't hurt us.

Yes, I understand it has been awhile...
I apologize to all of you who randomly check my blog and see the same thing from a couple of months ago. I am usually at school for 8-12 hours everyday doing homework, and stuff with the athletics department (with my new favorite person KIMMIE!!) I also started going to bed around 9 and it is AMAZING, I love it. I get up at 4:45 almost every morning so I feel I have the right to go the bed early. I still wish that I was in Africa, Europe, pretty much anywhere but here. Life is great though, I love it, and I could not be happier. Ok, maybe if I had a boy, that might help the situation (not an actual boyfriend, I heard they just cause trouble) I have been out on a couple of fun dates, and have a few more lined up (I'll keep you updated if anything happens with those) I also applied for PA school on Oct. 1st and am just sitting around waiting to hear back from the 7 schools I applied to. I should hear back between December and March. It is really a tough program to get into so I am not sure I will get in my on first try...we'll just have to wait and see...maybe I will be moving far far away in April!
Anyways I'd like to give a shot out to my Utes who aren't perfect, but they sure are trying. Let's all show a little love to the Utah Football Team! FYI- Basketball starts on November 1st and I'm excited to work at games that are inside and warm. The men's team is also celebrating 100 Years of Basketball so you should all get online and vote for the All Century Team at http://www.utahutes.com/. Also, the Utah Women's Soccer team is 3rd in their conference at the moment, if they win the next 3 games they can't finish worse than 2nd!!! GO UTES!!
Professor (Mario R. Capecchi) won the Nobel Prize for his work in genetics, just another reason to love the U!!!
Congrats to Jess and Trip leader Talmadge who had a little bundle of joy! Can't wait to see her in December!

1 1/2 weeks until I teach Relief Society...am I old enough to do that? Only 4 more weeks until I get to go visit Jason, Holly, and Teeny baby! 7 weeks until I am a college graduate! 8 1/2 weeks until Christmas, and the Lang Christmas Extraganza with extended family (some of my favorite people in the world!) The next few months are jam packed with fun and family! Can't wait!

Elder Lang has been out for 1 year today!!! Just thought I would let you know how excited I am to see him in 1 year!! I am also at the point where I am sure I will not get married before he gets home, which means I get to have my whole family there in the temple with me! (when it actually does happen, who knows when that will be? I am not an any rush)

Well thanks for taking the time to read all of this random info, I never reread these things so please let me know if there is a typing or spelling error of some sort. Hopefully life will calm down and I will be a little better at updating my blog, if not you'll have to stare at this post until I find a morning where class is cancelled and I feel guilty looking at everyone elses updates! Happy Halloween!

They actually have a button for Olives?
If you haven't heard the story....When we were in New York (in 2001) there was a resturant in the lobby of our hotel named Olives. My mom was looking at the phone in our room and she thought that just like "front desk," Wake up call," "room service," etc. they had a button for olives. (she says she didn't see the sign for the resturant) We still make fun of her and say "yeah mom you just pick up the phone and say can I have some green pitted olives to room 225, thanks." When we were walking back from out show there it was again in the Belliago. I started laughing and made my mom go and take a picture in front of it.

Family Fun at Ethan's Reception
Emri wanted to help her dad decorate the car (Jason was having a little too much fun with it) She also loved spinning around and playing in the bubbles with Grandma! What a cute little Lang family! If you can't tell, she was the hit of the reception and walked away with the award of "most photos taken."

FUN TIMES IN THE VEGAS PHOTO BOOTH!
Do I need to explain?
(If you're trying to set me up with someone, please try to hide these photos until after they get to know me a
little bit, thank you for your cooperation.)

LAS VEGAS BABY!!
Sara, my mom and I went a day early to Vegas and saw the O Show. It was a cool show, I loved every minute of it. I also got to meet the the hot pirates at Treasure Island, and Sara blinged out my phone. I also did a little gambling aganist my parents will, I loved it, hopefully I won't become addicted!

Family Party Fun
I had my family party and it was fun to get the family together (especially with J, Holly, and Emri here) Ellie was scared of blowing out the candles and Emri just kept saying "cake." The Penn kids, the Lang kid, and the Snow kids all played so nicely together.

Pool Party with Emri, Brooklyn, and Ellie
Brooklyn and Ellie came over to play with Emri in the pool, they looked like they were having a lot of fun. Emri and Ellie are a year apart but practically the same size.

Boat Party!
Emri loved to play with the boat. She would honk the horn and then make the funniest face and say "funny." She found one seat that she loved and sat there the whole time. We put a lifejacket on her and she had a hard time moving around, it was pretty funny.

Auntie Aubrey and Emri
Emri came for the weekend! It was fun to see her, I haven't seen her since February and she is so big. We played in the pool and splashed around. Jason, Justin, and Holly sat and watched Elmo with Emri. I think they were more entertained then she was. They were talking about how it was made and which one they liked best. Emri loved the water and kept saying "pool", and "shark" I can't believe that she is talking so much. She also helped grandma water the flowers, clean the rocks, and cook the waffle. What a funny kid.

Weekend of Love, Laughter, and Lots of Langs

This weekend we had a family BBQ where Teri and Tiff had matching swimming attire, and Ellie enjoyed some good old fashion grub. On sunday we had Sadie's blessing and a luncheon, it was so fun to see everyone and just sit and make fun of each other like we always do. Sorry Brooklyn and Sadie I guess Ellie is my favorite cause she has the most pictures on this thing.
