At 10 months this little peanut...

has another tooth on the bottom and 2 more coming in on the top
is a rebel- thats why we got a gate
(Anna will start doing something naughty and when I say her name she looks at me, smiles, and continues)

she likes to crawl away from me ALL.THE.TIME (especially when I come to stop her from going somewhere she shouldn't)
can wave (sort of, she only does it wen she wants and her hand is still in a fist)
tries to help me feed her
when something doesn't make it in her mouth, she will take her hand and shove it in there
still loves to watch trees when the blow in the wind
starts "singing" when everybody else does, or when it is quiet and she shouldn't be
loves taking her vitamin
makes the cutest new smily face

still does her 'buckin bronco" in her bumbo
crawls out of her bumbo
crawls away while getting her diaper changed, she loves being free!
loves graham crackers

is a ham (she like to be the center of attention)
laughs at herself when she thinks she is funny (just like her father)
chases people when they start to leave the room
thinks climbing stairs is a good thing to do

CAN sit quietly by herself and play (usually when she found something she shouldn't have)

{every time I tried to take a picture I would count and on 3 she would lunge forward, obviously she thinks it is funny}

prefers to have attention and will scream if she doesn't have it
had a small separation anxiety phase

pulls herself up on any and everything

can and does eat everything! (real people food)

knows when its feeding time. If I get out the boppy she comes running
LOVES LOVE LOVES remotes
went to her first ward council and wasn't very reverent
crawled away from me while naked, pull up on the couch and peed on the floor
waves every time she leaves her room (after sleeping)

still eats paper

NEVER. STOPS. MOVING
is a little vacuum
is now semi scared of the vacuum

has THE CUTEST laugh
has the nickname "squishy baby"
growls constantly (like she was doing in this picture)
ate something from the floor and gave the choking face. I pounded her on the back and she threw up... not fun for mommy

is the funniest little thing
is still a great sleeper at night
eats real people food cut up into little pieces
knows food, she crawls over and yells until you share with her
has tippy ears like her mom and uncle J
loves mr. robot

is a little stink face but we love her so much.

at 9 months

she is crazy and helpful

she moves (crawls, rolls, wiggles, climbs)

she just started the whole hands and knees crawling the other day

loves to swim, kick and blow bubbles

is good at going from crawling to sitting

is still a GREAT sleeper

says dadadada all the time

talks during church, funerals, bedtime, naptime, in her carseat, to strangers....

turned into our vacuum cleaner (she finds the smallest things on the carpet)

is using different things to pull herself up to stand

still does planks, downward dog and other crazy poses

loves people

picks up puffs with her pinchers and eats them

has a tooth! (bottom right side- found this out the hard way)

is a very well tempered, smiling baby most of the time

is interested in touching, tasting and destroying everything

went to the beach for the first time and ate lots of sand

has tasted/eats strawberries, carrots, applesauce, green beans, sweet potatoes, squash, broccoli, chicken, blueberries, bananas, peaches, asparagus, ice cream, whipped cream, plums

still love to eat tags

loves to kiss her giraffe blanket

is good at using her sippy cup

drink water like her mom

knows how to climb out of her bumbo

is a little stinker

yells when you aren't giving her attention

did FANTASTIC on her second plane ride

love the hiking backpack

scratches everything like a cat

had to lower her bed because she now sits up in bed and pulls on her bumper pads

got her first bruise and scraps from a stroller fall on July 29, 2012

does any and everything she can to not have her diaper changed.

(she grabs the diaper, wipes, rolls, kicks)

has quite the personality

has a cute little courtesy laugh

acts shy sometimes

fake coughs
looks more like her dad everyday

got her first bruise (she face planted on to a hard surface)

is really good at sitting up

makes the funniest growling noises

slept 14 hours the other day

LOVES LOVES LOVES to swim

is scooting around like a champ 

(why do we want babies to grow up? they are so much harder to watch!)

says (unintentionally) things that sound like "dada" and "Anna"

switched to a different carseat

knows what she wants and goes for it

LOVES vegetables

loves tags and fabric
(she will find the tag on anything and start eating it)

is an adventurous little spirit

eats everything!

went on her first camping trip (and did great for all 3 days!)

yells at you if you aren't looking at her

responds to her name

pinches hard

has more hair!

loves to sit and play with toys

talks all the time (during church)

chews on the pointer finger of her right hand

has a little shy side

loves to climb up people

gets excited, opens her arms and leans when she wants somebody (mostly me)

breaks into random songs

plays independently very well

knows her feet but doesn't love them

had her very first experience with a non family babysitter (7-10-12)

looks more like her dad everyday

wouldn't sit still for the picture

giggles when playing the "chase"game

is a very happy, smiling baby 98% of the time

(many people have come up and expressed how much personality she has)

is eating solid foods like a champ

is starting to sit up for short periods of time

has very curious eyes

LOVES to eat fabric

is my little buddy

is a great sport when we have a busy schedule

seems to be getting to big for her carseat

loves trees 

can't get enough of wind

(she laughs when you blow in her face)

loves her feet

loves to yell, not talk, yell when you aren't paying attention to her

is still very curious and won't sleep if something exciting is happening.

poops like a real person (stinky!!!)

 moves around ALL THE TIME

(my mom placed her on the floor while we were working on the computer and when we looked down 2 minutes later she was on her stomach under the chair... how did she get there?)

is a champ when her dad is around

is a stinker at bed time

(she loves to sit in her bed and talk, kick her feet and scratch her sheet)

is currently trying to eat my arm

love to arch her back and see who is holding her

slobbers constantly!

looks like she is looking at you and startles when you talk to her

is a thrill seeker

We love this girl more and more each day!

At 6 months she...

rolls and rolls and rolls again

still sleeps like a champ

(she does have freak screaming attacks sometimes in the middle of the night)

smiles A LOT

is a little chatter box

has the cutest giggle but is shy about laughing out loud

(she is a silent laugher)

gets to start eating solids!

(we started on May 18 and she isn't that great at it, she makes the funniest face)

went swimming for the first time

(we dunked her under and had her float on her back)

is still the cutest little thing ever!

LOVES to stand 

is getting better at sitting but face plants often

LOVES LOVES LOVES being outside and the wind

sit in her crib and talks

likes hanging out on the grass

is interested in people

does not nap for longer than 1 hour

will NOT seep if something is going on

(my mom bought her one for the car, she now will NOT fall asleep in the car, she just talks to herself.)

Mother's Day 2012

I joined the ranks this year and so thankful for the opportunity to be a mom, more importantly I am thankful for my mom and the MANY things she has done and continues to do.

She....

planned my whole wedding and made it the most wonderful day ever!

supported me (even when I was a butthead) for the last 26 years

she has made countless costumes, skirts, outfits...

lets me come hang out at her house an eat her food

calls me whenever she is at Costco

includes me in everything

makes time for Anna no matter how busy she is
waiting for hours while I was in labor
(and I am POSITIVE she will do the same for your siblings)

knows how to do everything & if she doesn't she tries anyway

has some crazy fun ideas (bunny tail treats for her 28 year old son's kickball team)

is the best example of service, selflessness, compassion, love, caring, mothering, crafty, creative, giving... pretty much EVERY good quality a person could have

(yes I know I have a great example)

and she has to be the BEST grandmother ANY kid could ask for.


Dear Anna,
If I am 1/2 the mom grandma is.... I did a good job.
(plus you have a great dad so I think we will be ok)
 Luckily you have her as a wonderful example of how to be a mother.
You are the best kid a mom could ask for, please stay that way!
I love your giggles, smile, grunts, toot face, wiggles, crazy sleeping positions....

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a mom.
I pray everyday I will live up to your expectations.
