don't judge.
I let my mom and aunt dye my hair....
my mom had too much fun...
Mount crumpet. According to the mother.
Jon stayed up and built our crib last night because he was so excited.
I put the bears in it and sent the picture to my dad.
He bought the polka dot one for me 8 years ago and the pink one for baby H.
They are ready for her to come play.
I woke up for work not expecting to laugh so hard.
I found this ring in the bathroom and one of the nurses tried to convince me it was his.
He is "The golden fox" and fights crime at night with that ring.
He may regret saying that after what we made him do.. Yeah, we made him a crime fighting outfit out of hospital supplies.
These people are the reason I go to work.
They are SO much fun!

Jon is awesome.
He (my parents contributed too, Thanks parentals!) bought me this for my birthday.
Not just the camera but a whole bunch of accessories.
He also bought and set up this yesterday... We still have A LOT of work to do on the nursery
(it WON'T be pink anymore, and that big piece of white furniture will be gone!!!)
I am SO excited to complete it, I want it to be done NOW!!!
(yes I realized that sounded a bit like the girl on Willy Wonka)
In my opinion it is going to be the CUTEST nursery EVER!
My first baby shower will be this weekend and I hear it is going to be awesome!
(the whole theme is a surprise so I can't wait to see what my aunt and mom have planned!)
I think I will take my new camera and take pictures of the glorious event!
HAPPY WEEKEND!

best or worst aunt?
On the recent trip to Mammoth I spent some time hanging out/babysitting the 2 little crazies. During that time I MAY have let the following things happen... I MAY have let E eat candy and play the ipad the whole way to Mammoth I MAY have let E fall asleep like this in the car I MAY have made them play with GIANT bugs for a picture. I MAY have made them pose for picture before going to play I MAY have planned a treasure hunt for them and their "cousins" (with my mom's help) I MAY have let them get extremely dirty while playing at the lake I MAY have loaned my husband out to play with them I MAY have let Katie play in my makeup bag and do whatever the heck she wanted. I MAY have put her in the bath and let her swim around instead of washing her face The makeup MAY have stayed on all night because I couldn't get everything off
(in my defense she wouldn't let me wipe her face and I didn't want to make her stop playing in the tub in her swimming suit.) You decide. I think I am the BEST aunt they have Their parents may think differently

The weekend.
we started out the weekend finding out about our little girl.
no going to lie, I shed a few tears.
I was secretly hoping for trucks, bugs, dirt and blue
I now get bows, ruffles, barbies and pink.
Baby H (via aunt Sara) gave us (or herself) this lovely gift to cheer me up.
I am getting used to the whole idea of frills
I made bows, flowers and headbands galore on saturday for the 2 little girls I already love so much.
the very excited grandparents added some CUTE clothes to her growing collection
I am in LOVE with this outfit.
(made in Peru. even though she wasn't, her parent's relationship was)
This (along with a beanie my brother promises to make) will be what she comes home from the hospital in.
unless something cuter comes along...
which is hard for me to imagine right now.
(and maybe the coat grandpa bought her)
I can't wait to hold the nugget and cuddle her while she is wearing this and finally home!Grandpa also bought Baby H her first teddy bear.
nice, soft and pink.
already friends with the one he bought for me when I got my appendix out.jon took me out to dinner to celebrate my birth and the gender reveal.
How I love spending time with him.
What a loving husband, his facebook post said he already loves both of his girls.
makes me smile to think about that.
baby bump at 18.5 weeks before dinner.
even though this girl thing is going to take some getting used to I am excited
how could I not be excited about giving a cousin to the 2 nuggets?
Here is to hoping they will be nice.
How could I not want one of these?
It was a good weekend.
now I am working on my birthday and Jon has to work all night...
being an adult sucks sometimes.
Happy birthday to me!

Reusing the first.

My mom bought me a white dress,

Not red or pink or blue.

She said it was a special dress

Like very other few,

There has been just one before,

A dress now put away,

That I wore some time ago

Upon my blessing day.

As a little baby clothed

In my first white dress,

My dad held me in his arms, {I like to imagine this is how my baby girl is hanging out in heaven. My grandma and grandpa Frogley are watching over her, they know her and they are telling her about the family she will be coming in to. It makes me smile to know they have met her and are protecting her.}

There to name and bless.

So pure and clean was I just then,

With time to grow and learn

About the Father's plan for me.

My glory I must earn.

Now I've reached the age to judge

The wrong road from the right,

And I am here to be baptized

In this dress of white.

{my dad and I on my baptism day}

So once again I'm free from sin.

The path is clear to me.

I'll grasp the rod and hold on tight, I vow with certainty.

Just as mud would stain my dress,

Sin would stain my soul.

The key is to repent or bleach,

For whiteness is my goal.

And if I try my very best

Then richly blessed I'll be,

Wearing inside God's holy house

White dress number three,

So today I make this pledge:

I'll strive to choose the right,

Through this sacred baptism ordinance

In my second dress of white.

(Linda Gay Perry Nelson, 1993)

I have now had the chance to have all 3 of my white dresses and I am excited to share my very first one with my daughter.
This is my blessing dress from 26 years ago, when I told my mom I was having a girl she immediately said "we need to go find a blessing dress"
I told her I wanted baby H to wear mine, she agreed and got to work making sure mine was in perfect condition.

When you wish upon a star....Everybody has dreams.
BIG dreams.
Little Dreams.
Current dreams and dreams about the future.
I was reading a blog about a girl who is currently studying abroad and was a little sad, that used to be one of my dreams. The thought of being emersed in a culture while going to school was always appealing to me. I love to travel, so my dreams usually included an new exotic place. I thought about the dream I have had over the last 25 (almost 26) years.
I have dreamed about...
being a doctor
traveling to every country in the world
making a difference
being an OT
being a PA
getting married
having kids
being successful
being creative
inventing something great
humanitarian trips galore as a medical professional
having fireworks at my wedding
Recent dreams
moving for grad school
going to nursing school
a house
a real career
I really can't complain, I have a great life and many wonderful dreams have come true.
The dream that can't come true fast enough...

To Tyler.
We traveled to Peru
We laugh a lot
(the bread and testicles story will forever be one of my favorites, as well as the romantic music call to the mission pres)
We took pictures
We enjoyed life
I was hurt when I heard you were taken at such a young age.
I am glad you were with your family at the time.
Enjoy heaven and remember never delete a picture :)
{Machu Picchu- May 16, 2009}
Jon and I went over to his house to pick up the pictures (after Peru- June-ish of 2009) and he filmed this.
Funny to watch.
Thank you for the memories Tyler.
You will be missed.

It is a sad day....
when you have worked at a place for:
168 weeks
or
843 days
or
33600 hours
(I have apparently worked here too long)
and you had to break down and buy yourself lunch for the first time.
I ALWAYS bring my lunch to work with me unless:
We get free lunch for one reason or another.
Sad, Sad day. How do people buy lunch all the time?
It is EXPENSIVE!!!
If I bought lunch every day I worked here I would have spent $4215.
wow.
Just a random thought.

Favortie.
I love this holiday!
Here is a recap of the CRAZY weekend.
Saturday: My mom, Sara and I started off the weekend wit the Kiss me dirty run a t Wheeler farm.
As you can see, it was NOTHING llike thie dirty dash.
This picture is at the end, my shirt was white at the beggining and the end!
Saturday afternoon was spent with the Grandparents who were in town.
Saturday night Jon went on a date with CJ and I tagged along.
They went to Cheesecake Facotry for dinner (where I ran into Rylee!)
played xbox with Josh (i worked on YW stuff and took a nap)
CJ and Jon (without me) went to get TCBY
and then played MORE xbox (I took more naps)
The date lasted until 12:30 am, that boy needs an earlier curfew.
Sunday night the Kings and the Evans stopped buy to pick up some cookies and we enjoyed watching the neighbors (5 of them) light off (illegal) fireworks.
Heaven!
{yes I wore red, white, and blue on purpose}
Monday: Happy 4th!!!
We started off with the Murray "Fun" Run.
Not so fun but tradition.
It was HOT!!!
but I didn't die so we are good.
I ran with Karly and we finished with an 8:30 pace
Not bad for running uphill both ways in the deadly HEAT.
{my star spangled headband. THANKS MOM!!}
After the run Sara and I drove up to the cabin to spend time with the family.
We relaxed, read People, ate, napped and had fun.
I also blew bubbles with Katie.
Went on a walk with the Professor.
Played with the kids.
and enjoyed the day.
I rushed home to help with flags and then headed to the Hansen's for a BBQ and fireworks.
I was too late for the BBQ part but I enjoyed watching Jon and CJ act like 5 years olds on Christmas.
They were LOVING life.
The rain and wind made it not quite as fun but we managed to enjoy it.
around 9:30 we headed home to light off fireworks with Sara and watch our neighbors show.
The Evans stopped by again and enjoyed our little show.
Thanks Sara for the fun (and pictures)!
I am sad it is over but excited I get to do it again in 19 days!!!
Thank you UTAH for making aerial legal, and celebrating the 24th of July!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for planning a lovely family get-together!
P.S. Happy Birthday to my lovely Aunt Shari!!
