8 years. Same car.

So I have been driving my little honda for 8 years. Yesterday I was waiting for a patient to show and I decided to clean my car (for our road trip this weekend!) There was some good stuff stashed in there.... let me share. Justin gave this to me one christmas, there is a button you push and it plays music.

Not sure why he gave it to me but it is still funny. I found my old phone (I LOVED this thing) and found some good text from when Jon and I were dating. I shared these with Jon and he just smiled because he thinks he is funny all the time.How cute. I wonder why I don't get text this cute anymore

Senior Year baby! You bet I took it easy. Daycare, crafts, ceramics, aide... (I remember I went and got my hair done during this period one time and the teacher didn't care. I also used to get in her desk drawer and throw candy out to the people I liked, good times) Justin made this gum wrapper flower during curch who knows how long ago. Ever since that day it has stayed right where you see it. my wallet sized Senior pics. Apparently I didn't feel the need to give these to anybody because I have a lot of them.

I know, I am pretty classy, and the blonde hair... WHAT THE?

I was tan, oh how I miss those days.

It is possible I showed these to Bridget and we had a good laugh. I decided I needed to start using these so I made a post it comment bubble and put it on her computer screen before she got into work today.

Weekend Update.

It started off with my mom calling me and freaking out about my hospital trip... apparently Jon told my borther he would be late (he was helping them move) because he had to take me to the ER. I had no idea what was going on, so I played along. My mom called me back a few hours later and told me I was supposed to called her and tell her it was an April fools joke. oops!

Too predictable and some family members would gets their little hearts broken when we said April fools.}

Bridget and I decided to switch places at work. She always wears pants and I always wear skirts. We switched clothes and name tags. Some people think we are the same person and some people get us confused...

either way it was pretty funny. Friday night I went to the Hansen family birthday party.

Everybody in the Hansen family has a birthday in April... almost.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ALL!

We babysat the girls on Saturday morning so J and Holly could unpack. The girls and I were taking a little walk when E told me she got her Rapunzel wig taken away for ACCIDENTIALLY hitting Katiebabe. I didn't really believe that story so I continued to question her about it and she finally said:

" Well I just didn't handle the situation calmy"

{who says that?!? We also we to the school yard to play}

Jon went to dinner and the Priesthood session with his family and I went to a Bachelorette party for my friend Rylee. It was SO much fun! Rylee is my mini me and I am so excited she is FINALLY getting married!

{Jon and I are taking a roadtrip to St. George next weekend for her wedding!}

After the fun we drove up to the cabin and stayed up until 2:30 talking to my siblings about fun memories.

We usually have a good time and laugh A LOT when we get together.

Sunday was spent watching conference, eating, laughing, spending time with the family, playing dress up, taking pictures of Katiebabe posing 100 different times, laughing, playing speed scrabble, and watching it SNOW.We also sent this picture to my dad who was unable to join us.

These 2 sure missed their grandpa.

I am ready for it to be the weekend again!

The voicemail

Cute little E called me the other day and left me a message saying she got her cast off so I could take her swimming now.

(I promised her a few days ago that I would take her to a cool pool as soon as her cast came off.)

We played voicemail tag for a day or two and then planned on next saturday. Well I ended up getting off work early yesterday so we decided to move up our play date. We took her and Katie babe to the South Jordan rec center, when we walked into the rec center E ran over to the window and was SO excited he could slide out of and alligator's mouth!

Katie babe just want to walk around the water (since she could actually touch). Jon and I both enjoyed our time with the little squirts and by the end of the day both Katie babe and E were cuddled up next to Jon on the couch and didn't want to leave.
