Finally Some Summer Fun!
After months of working my tail off and going to school, I finally got to have a semi-relaxing weekend. Saturday I  went up with Brittany, Kade, Zak, and Ian and got a few runs in on the water. I haven't had time to go on the boat for a few years and it felt great to be back out on the water. I had a few hard crashes and a few jumps. I'm feeling good about the rest of the summer. I'm definitely making sure I make some time to go up and get on the water. We also had a few good Rock band moments and way too much fun.
Kade was so proud of the knot he tied (from his 5 years in the Navy, ha ha) He had to pose by it.
Ian rocked it out, and Brittany got up her first time!

how do people come up with this?
In my ongoing quest to figure out how the world works, and how some things come to be, I have found yet another crazy invention that will boggle my mind and make me question things even more. I have no idea how successful it will be, but I think it is quite creative. I think it looks hilarious and reminds me of a few scenes from some movies (i.e A Christmas Story) I personally don't think that I would like it cause I actually like sleeping inside a sleeping bag and not in a big puffy suit. However I can't knock it until I try it.

To comment or not to comment, that is the question
So I was talking to my friend Amber the other day about how much we love to blog/facebook stalk people (private blogs do not make this fun) It was quite the conversation as she was currently stalking someone. Funny thing is that was not the first time, or person I have had the "stalking" conversation with. I decided to go on another stalking spree (if you will) during some precious free time (or as I like to call it refusing to do what I should and wasting time) I found a whole slew of peeps that I used to know (it was like Christmas) and I knew it was time well spent. (I love it when I can add people to my secret google reader list) I started looking at Amber's friends and came across a blog that had some great advice about the appropriate time to comment on a blog you choose to frequent. John says " 5 out of 10 times is the proper ratio" for every 10 new posts you view you should comment on 5 of those posts. Now he does have a point since I do love getting comments on my amazingly funny, creative, and informative posts... however isn't the point of stalking not to let people know you are doing it? I am debating on this, if you read this and I don't know you read this feel free to comment because I actually am curious how many randoms (as in people not on my link list) out there read my blog. Let me know you thoughts. If you feel like following John's advice and you have viewed my last 10 posts I better see some comments.... However I don't go back to the way old ones and read the comments so feel free to count this as number 1 and start fresh.

Thanks for letting me use your thoughts and comments!
You know how I can't post without adding a picture no matter how random it may be. The one above has nothing to do with commenting, it was in the wonderful M-town Ghetto 4th of July Parade. "Last Ryde" is the company being promoted... interesting. Here is something you can comment about (look how easy I make it for you, I'm such a nice blogger) Do you think somebody is really in there taking their last ride? FYI: When I die you know I want my last ride to be in the Murray 4th of July Parade, how cool would that be! I have to remember to put that in my will, when I get one. Now get to commenting!
