Lesson Learned:
I am NOT invincible.
Lets rewind a few years to start off this lesson shall we? The first snow storm after I turned 16 was on a sunday. My mom told me she wanted me to get practice so she asked me to drive myself to church. I got in my little galant and had no issues. Ok now fast forward to a winter in 2005, 2006, 2007 ish... I was driving in a snow storm (much like I was doing today) on the good old freeway. I wasn't going fast but I just started spinning. When I came to a stop I was facing oncoming traffic. "Thats not good" I thought, so I turned my car around and continued on my journey. Now lets talk about last night. I was driving 2 mph and turning onto fashion blvd when, here we go again, I started spinng, no cars around, no heart racing, turned my wheel and went on my way. I was telling the ladies at YW last night about my 2 different 180 stories, it was fun, and I thought that would be the last of my stories for a few years. WRONG!
Ok so today 30 December 2010. I got up early thinking it might take me longer to get to work. Well we live in a basement apartment so I never know how much it really snowed until I get outside. Well it snowed A LOT. So I trudged through the snow in my flats to my trunk to get my boots, scraped off my car, shovel the driveway and continue on my way.
{classy look I know}
At this point I was not at all concerned about being to work ontime I was concerned about getting there. So I drove slow through my neighborhood and got on the unplowed freeway (way to go udot). I was driving along when the car in front of me started going 3 mph. I didn't want to run into the back of the car so I started to move over (don't worry I was going about 8 mph at this time). If you live in utah you know a little pile of crap build up inbetween the lanes, well my little honda plowed through it and what happened... 180. As I was doing what I remember learning (pumping my breaks and not over correcting) I said to myself, crap I am going to hit that cement barricade. Guess what I was right! I hit it. I looked at the oncoming traffic, turned my car around, drove for a bit, pulled over to call JH and look at the damage. JH didn't answer so I had to leave him a voicemail that went something like this...." pause, puase, pause... tears, tears, tears... some words about spinning and hitting the wall... an apology for the money we will have to spend... no mention if I was ok, and then click" (apparently I worried him a bit). I continued on my way to work and got here safely. Below is the damage, not bad.
thank goodness.Lets just say I have never been scared of driving in the snow, I still am ok with it. I just now no snow related accidents can and WILL happen to me. I am just thankful I was the only on in the car and no other cars were close to me.

Inappropriate?{does this include ALL cutures?}
For more entertainment please click here and enjoy reading the colors offered in the package. There are a few I wouldn't think described skin color... red, terra cotta, mahgaony.... just to name a few. {a product of my lunchtime bagels and spray butter} Sorry, sometimes I have the mind of a teenage boy and think inappropriate things are funny.
Have a great Tuesday!

Looks like us younger folk have a rough road ahead of us according to this article.

Let us continue.
After reading the Polar Express and the Christmas story (in the bible) we opened our pjs. The boys had fun taking matching pictures.
JH is a nerd and Joshie looks like the devil.
Round 1 with the timer.
Round 2- JH and I are very proper (and so much taller)
I made him take a few more pictures with me, you can see from his face that he LOVED it.
On Christmas morning we got up and had a lovely breakfast.
We headed down to J and Holly's to watch the girls open gifts. Lets just say this was probably the funniest part of Christmas. Katie babe got a ballerina outfit from grandma and posed properly for pictures.
Joshie got a snuggie
Katie babe topped off her outfit with some rockin socks
E and Katie babe got a jeep. E was careful when driving and didn't go far. Katie babe pushed on the gas, didn't know how to steer and was more interested in looking good in her pictures. She almost ran into the curb, car, trash can, people....
We got home and had our Christmas and then played Wii and stayed in our pjs for many many hours. It was an intense game of Frisbee golf and archery.
Merry Christmas to all! I had a WONDERFUL 1st married Christmas. My wonderful husband did a great job and even picked out clothes for me (and I love them!) Thank you to my family for the many wonderful things. As we were driving home I had the GREATEST idea for gifts for next year, I already started working on them. As much as I love summer, my birthday, 4th of july, boating, warm mornings, fall, football, etc.... I am SO excited for next Christmas. Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday!

Party Time Part 1
We started our journey to Las Vegas on Wednesday morning. We were a bit scared of the weather report but knew nothing could stop us from supporting out team. JH decided to pull out the gun app on the itouch and act like a gansta. Yep, this was about 20 mins into the LONG drive.
After a lot of game playing, singing, and laughing JH got really sick. Joshie and I let him sleep and enjoyed some bonding time. It was SO much fun, we made fun of each other and laughed until we almost peed our pants.
After 6 hours we made it to Las Vegas and this was the first stop on our trip. I don't really like hamburgers but In and Out is DELICIOUS! It was packed full of Utah and BSU fans.
JH and Joshie played with the GPS this whole time. JH thought it was funny to turn on the talking voice.
We met Dave at the hotel and then went to pick up Tim. Timmy stayed at a different hotel and this was his entertainment... Fat Elvis. I am not being mean that is what the sign said.
Dave was trying to be inappropriate so JH thought it would be funny to join in.
Dave trying to put a naughty flyer in Joshie's pocket. I wasn't able t control these characters.
go UTES! (the man in the background with the umbrella was CREEPY, he apparently wanted a specific picture because he stood in the exact same position for 20 mins) While we were standing there the fountains at the Bellagio starting going with Christmas music.
JH was left without a seat so he sat on the throne.
Timmy's bathroom had a window... this happened to be a window that you could see EVERYTHING from, no privacy there.
GAME TIME!

After the Hansen festivities (and talking to Elder Hansen!) we headed up to the cabin to partake in some traditions. Joshie has become the reader of The Polar Express because my mom cries too much. This year I was the bell ringer, I must say it was a good bell ringing year.
Stayed tuned for part 2.... including pajamas and Wii games

Yeah, thats right 100% on the first try without watching the video.
I rock! I actually hold the record in the WHOLE division, according to the woman in charge nobody has ever gotten 100%.
