Favortie.
I love this holiday!
Here is a recap of the CRAZY weekend.
Saturday: My mom, Sara and I started off the weekend wit the Kiss me dirty run a t Wheeler farm.
As you can see, it was NOTHING llike thie dirty dash.
This picture is at the end, my shirt was white at the beggining and the end!
Saturday afternoon was spent with the Grandparents who were in town.
Saturday night Jon went on a date with CJ and I tagged along.
They went to Cheesecake Facotry for dinner (where I ran into Rylee!)
played xbox with Josh (i worked on YW stuff and took a nap)
CJ and Jon (without me) went to get TCBY
and then played MORE xbox (I took more naps)
The date lasted until 12:30 am, that boy needs an earlier curfew.
Sunday night the Kings and the Evans stopped buy to pick up some cookies and we enjoyed watching the neighbors (5 of them) light off (illegal) fireworks.
Heaven!
{yes I wore red, white, and blue on purpose}
Monday: Happy 4th!!!
We started off with the Murray "Fun" Run.
Not so fun but tradition.
It was HOT!!!
but I didn't die so we are good.
I ran with Karly and we finished with an 8:30 pace
Not bad for running uphill both ways in the deadly HEAT.
{my star spangled headband. THANKS MOM!!}
After the run Sara and I drove up to the cabin to spend time with the family.
We relaxed, read People, ate, napped and had fun.
I also blew bubbles with Katie.
Went on a walk with the Professor.
Played with the kids.
and enjoyed the day.
I rushed home to help with flags and then headed to the Hansen's for a BBQ and fireworks.
I was too late for the BBQ part but I enjoyed watching Jon and CJ act like 5 years olds on Christmas.
They were LOVING life.
The rain and wind made it not quite as fun but we managed to enjoy it.
around 9:30 we headed home to light off fireworks with Sara and watch our neighbors show.
The Evans stopped by again and enjoyed our little show.
Thanks Sara for the fun (and pictures)!
I am sad it is over but excited I get to do it again in 19 days!!!
Thank you UTAH for making aerial legal, and celebrating the 24th of July!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for planning a lovely family get-together!
P.S. Happy Birthday to my lovely Aunt Shari!!
